Favorite BB Cream

BB cream which stands for blemish balm originated from Germany. It was made to help patient with skin surgery, it became extremely popular in Asia especially in Korea. I tried some korean BB cream products in the past but to my dismay, it broke my skin out.

Now it's in America all over our drugstores, Revlon, Maybeline, Loreal, and many more popular brands have caught on. My favorite right now is Loreal's Magic Skin Beautifier BB cream. It feels like a tinted moisturizer for me and it's not heavy like most foundations. It left my face matte which gives you a natural look. Loreal's Magic BB cream is perfect for me because I have little to no blemishes. I also have dry to combination skin.

corrects skin for healthy looking even combination

Brushes won't work with this product since you need to 'activate' the color pigment beads through application. If you are extremely rough and quick with application of creams and liquids then this product will feel harsh however with gentle circular motions, it melts the BB cream into the skin and you barely notice the "beads".

August MyGlam bag review

Received my August glam bag before the month was over!

What my bag came with!

Circus by Andreas choice in bright orange color, perfect for summer!

The verdict: The nail polish didn't last too long even with my seche top coat. It chipped after a day on my nails sad to say. I won't be purchasing any of the Circus nail polishes.

Circus - Spectacle

My Glam came out with their own lipgloss! The color I received gave me a very pretty fushia color!

Not much of a fan of this lipgloss, it felt quite sticky on my lips and I hate sticky lipglosses!! This product reminds me of cheap drugstore lip glosses.

Pros: Made my lips look hugee!

July Beauty Product of the Month 2012

My favorite product of the month of July is:

Sonia Kasuk's HIDDEN AGENDA CONCEALER PALETTE!

I cannot live without this concealer palette, the colors blends so well against my light-olive complexion. I believe this palette is easily blendable so it will match many light to medium skin tones. I recommended this product to my sister and she loved it!

I usually blend the top right salmon tint with the bottom left greenish tint "neutralizer" color, sort of a muddy, army green, covers redness beautifully and blends with my skin so it looks more natural. This blending technique covers up my blemishes well, and glides on smoothly. Then I use the top left lightest tint and blend with top right salmon tint for under eyes dark circles. Sometimes, this was all I needed for my face, no need for foundation. :) With reaping benefits, I feel that this is even comparable to a more "high-end" product at sephora.

July MyGlam Bag Review

Another myglam bag review with some disappointments. This was for the month of July. A bunch of measly samples I didn't like, but I suppose its good to try new products. I will have my first intial reaction to each product and also information on each. :)

Juice Beauty Green Apple SPF 15 Moisturizer

My intial reaction: When I first tried this moisturizer on my face.. it felt like a gel-like substance, not like most moisturizer I was used to. What. the. heck. It didn't blend well on my skin. Not sure if it's suppose to feel like that. I didn't like the texture of it. My skin did not feel moisturized.

My intial reaction: Not a very flattering color for my lips...very splotchy, but it did, however gave me a cute pink rosy cheeks! My skin color right now is light olive. This could look great on different skin tones. I would recommend putting on a lip balm or gloss before applying this lip stain

June My Glam Bag

What the hell is wrong with Myglam's shipping? Finally received my JUNE bag in JULY! -__- Any who, this is what I got in the bag. It's nothing too crazy. Is this worth the $10 bucks per month? Maybe, maybe not. The bag for June is extremely cute which is a huge plus, it's almost like a clutch you can go out in. It's sparkly,gold, and girly.

Living Proof hair nourishing styling cream...Didn't notice much of a difference when I used it.. But then again I have a lot of layers..
